So basically make game interesting and hard with misery and call of pripyat is good. Sadly the maps in lost alpha are half-empty and there are no big mods like for other 3games so far. Lost alpha has best features of SOC but also got weapons ugrade system and more. Call of pripyat maps are good as they resemble fallout - less loading times, more stuff to do. Clear sky had stupid faction system, but was pretty much the same as SOC with the addition of upgrade system. It was fun, but too much rambo-action like killing entire bases alone to get past duty checkpoint. Too bad vanilla never had weapons repairing let alone modifications.
